30 weeks

On Wednesday I went to my 30 week appointment. Everything went fine the dr gave me some zantac for the acid reflux I have been having and it is working! He also said that according to my sonogram last time and after he remeasured me he thinks that I am 32 weeks! He said he thinks my actual due date is around August 11-13...that's two weeks early!!!! I am ready for him to be here but I am not ready for him yet!!! It has motivated me to get to work on some baby stuff!! I looked and looked for firefighter material and never could find any I liked so I decided on this vintage cowboy material here is some of it I think it will be really cute. We finally decided on a name Justin wants to see the baby before we pick a name that is what happened with Addi but I like monogrammed things so I wanted a name we finally decided...

EASTON JOHN MANN!

Addi had a fever the on Wed and Thurs she really did not have any other symptoms and so we did not do alot. I felt so bad for her she felt better after taking her meds but then her fever would be back. Today she was back to normal. We made Justin a Fathers day surprise today and she was my little helper!! Happy Friday!

Here are some pictures of what we have been doing lately. Now that I am staying home with Addi we have really been trying to find things to do at least for a few hours a day. It gets to be a long day at home if we don't go anywhere! We went to Amarillo a few weeks ago Addi had a great time she played and played.

We found out that our theatre does kid movies on Tuesday and Thursday and the best part it is only 2 dollars! Addi did great and watched the whole movie. Today we saw Marmaduke.

We got a swimming pool for the backyard and a sandbox.

This is our second week of swimming lessons Addi loves them she does really good will jump off the side and go under water and will float on her back she has a great time.Last Friday we meet some friends at the Jump Zone and we have also been going to the library. I am really enjoying getting to spend sometime with Addi before the baby gets here. She is so much fun!

How cute are these shoes! My mom got them for Addi and I love them my Toms are some of my favorite shoes. Addi is doing great with the potty training. She had an accident a week ago and since then she has not had one accident! She has woken up from her naps and even from sleeping through the night and is dry. Today she told me several times that she had to go and not wait for me to tell her it was time to go. She will use the bathroom then say I am so proud of you! I think she was ready to be potty trained.

Tomorrow is my dr appt and today I was 30 weeks I can not believe that in 6 weeks I will be full term CRAZY! We have decided on a name and I have been working on the room...cleaning out the room not the fun stuff yet. So hopefully tomorrow I will post his name and show you some of the fabric for the nursery.

We have had a lot going on lately and I have been really just worn out so no blogging lately. Our computer crashed last week so we had to get another one so I will upload some new pictures of Addi later on but here is what has been going on with us...

Addi...we are potty training we started this week and so far it is going ok she doesn't really tell me when she has to go but will go when I take her so yesterday and Monday we had a few accidents and right after she pees in her big girl panties she tells me. Today we have had no accidents so far ! I think she is doing good it will just take some time and some extra laundry! She is taking swimming lessons on Tues and Thurs yesterday was her first day and she really liked it we just really played in the water. A couple of weeks ago she Justin and I took her to the movies for the first time and she did great she really liked it and she really really liked the popcorn. It is so much fun now that she is older and she gets excited about doing things.

Baby...I was 29 weeks yesterday the dr said he thinks I am about a week ahead but he is not going to change my due date. We had dr appointment last week and we got to do an ultrasound it is so much fun to get to see them. He had his little hand by his face so couldn't see from nose down. At last sonogram the dr called back and said I had low lying placenta which means the placenta attaches at the wrong spot and if it does not correct then it turns in to placenta previa which means placenta is over the cervix which is not good. So for about 10 weeks I could not lift anything including Addi and had to be on pelvic rest which is really annoying...especially not being able to lift Addi. BUT he said last week that it had corrected itself and everything looked great! I am so thankful! Dr called this week and said iron was a little low but not low enough for meds and he wants to check my thyroid so tomorrow I have to go back to have some blood drawn. I am not sure what it is being summer, being older or chasing after a two year old all the time but last pregnancy was so much easier I just felt better last time.

Me...I am getting to stay home with Addi this summer. The dr I worked for decided to sell his practice and told us three weeks before it was all going to happen..nice right! The dr that bought his practice has told me several times that she is planning on being busy enough for another hygienist by the time I am done with maternity leave so I really hope that works out. But for now not much I can do about it except enjoy my time with Addi. It is so frustrating the way it happened but I guess thats the way it goes.

Justin...has been busy at work he is studying for a big test next week. He has spent so much time on it and I know he will be glad when its all over!

Remember the good news I was telling you we had well...Janie (my little sister) is pregnant! They have been trying for a really long time it is such a blessing and I can't wait for Addi to have a cousin to play with and our babies will be about 5 months apart!

Coupons

Justin and I have been doing some couponing -kinda. I don't go to different stores and I do not watch the sale ads. Basically we get the Sunday paper and some off of the internet so it ends up being about $50 a month that we save so I think it is worth 10-15 minutes a week. I think to really save one thing you may have to do is buy brands you don't normally get like laundry detergent etc. We had a coupon for Scotts toliet paper NOT the brand we buy and of course it is the huge size. When we opened it Justin said this is worse than work paper I agreed it is brutal. Janie texted me at work and asked what was up with our toliet paper and my came over yesterday and said oh you still have this paper! It wasn't worth the two bucks.

We went to the zoo this weekend Addi had such a great time she never gets tired of the zoo she was very fascinatied by the turtles toe nails and thought they should be painted. We had a good weekend went to a birthday party and J went on a golf trip so my mom came over yesterday to help with Addi. I am so glad my mom lives her this pregnancy I am tired and she does alot when she comes over. Justin was excited about his trip he said he is tired and needs a break. I am glad I am not tired and am in no need for a break (sarcasm) why is it that it is easier for men to get away is that just life or do we women make it that way???

My mothers day present came in today I love getting things in the mail!

When you tell Addi to do her crazy face she rolls her eyes to the side and does something funny with her mouth she really looks kinda crazy!!

More Random Thoughts

1. I am so glad today is Thursday it is not going to be good if I ever have to work 5 days again! I am looking forward to the weekend it has been a VERY stressful week at work

2. We have been watching alot of basketball last night a player took out his mouth piece and Addi said Momma take off his teef (teeth) she is so funny every single day

3. Have you seen the commercial for the bite size hot pockets? It is so gross they talk and there mouth is a hole with meat stuffed in it umm gross

4. Do people really think when they tell their hygienist they floss that we believe them??

5. Next week I have a dr appointment then I start going every 2 weeks it really has been going by fast this time

6. Addi has started asking to be rocked before she goes to bed usually about 5 minutes but it is really kinda nice :)

7. We had some very exciting news this week and will be excited to share

8. I am having a hard time sleeping it is so hard to get comfortable and I am always hot

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day! I hope all the moms had a great day. I have a lot of friends who were celebrating their first! I hope next year is the first for some more who want to be moms. I can't believe next year I will have two babies!!

I had a great weekend Justin was home all weekend with us and we spent a lot of time relaxing. We got to spend some time with my mom and Janie and Brian. Addi is just crazy about all of them!

24 weeks

Weekend before last we went to the lake with some freinds Addi looks like a kid here! So grown up!

Random Thoughts

I am glad it is Wednesday only one more day this week...

-sometimes I feel overwhelmed, today I had a patient who had 7 foster kids twin 1 year olds, 2 yr old, 3 yr old 5 yr old and 7 yr old and no spouse wonder what she gets overwhelmed about

-have you ever tried a biscuit from Carls Jr yum!!!

-I am 24 weeks now and speaking of Carls Jr ever time I go to the dr and gain a pound I picture of pound of hamburger meat and then picture it being placed on my butt or thighs I have gained 13 lbs so far

-I am so glad it is May I cant wait to start planting my flowers

-I had the two cutest lunch dates today I love when Justin and Addi come see me for lunch

-I would love to have a bloody mary

-Addi has been having a hard time going to sleep normally we just tell her goodnight lay her down then walk out Sunday night she was screaming like something was wrong and we ended up kinda sleeping on the couch it was a long night

-I came home to a clean house AND flowers on the table with my favorites star gazer lilies it is wonderful walking into a clean house!! Justin is such a great husband!
