Christmas in Amarillo

We went to Amarillo last weekend and had a good and busy weekend. We went Thursday after work and Friday night we went to Great Grandma Manns house to see eveyone. Addi loved being center of attention!Boo! Addison loved her new doll house from Grammy and Papaw.

She also loved the new guns she got. Dean was very dramatic and made a good victim.

Some even managed to squeeze in a nap or two. What is better than a nap with a baby in your arms?

Santa

Addi and Easton went to see Santa last week. My mom and I took them to a store called the North Pole. It is such a neat store they have tons of Christmas things everything Christmas. They have a train for the kids to ride. We went when the store opened so that Addi could hear the real Christmas story. Santa reads the story then you get to see Santa. Addi got right in his lap and told him she wanted a kitchen so she could cook her eggs!

Christmas cards

Every year I think I am going to make a really cute Christmas card and every year it is something that I make last minute and settle for one to send out. This year was no different. I tried to take some cute pictures of Addi and Easton and this is what I got. They were not in the mood. Addi said her tutu was too itchy...which I am sure is right. I ended up using a picture from Eastons newborn pictures and sent them out last night. Hope everyone gets them before Christmas!

Blah

Lately I have been feeling just blah. I thought I wanted to grow my hair out so it has been growing and it is driving me crazy can you say ponytail everyday. I have 3 pounds to loose to be back at my prepregnancy weight but none of my shirts fit me since I am still breastfeeding. They are tight and make me self conscious. I have had a lot going on in the past couple months new baby..new job..taking addi and easton to daycare..all that has been going on with Janie. I thought working less days would mean I am more productive at home but that hasn't been the case.
So today my mom watched a and e for an hour so I could go get my haircut and on Friday I am going shopping for some new clothes. Addi had a good time at my moms then we ate lunch then I came home and scrubbed my house. I hate just picking the house up it drives me crazy. I like for it to be all clean every room even if it just stays that way for a day. Wait a day...that would be nice. So maybe with new clothes and new hair I will feel better

Addison

Addi...Addi...Addi...
I can't believe that in a month Addi will be 3 years old. She is at such a fun age. She is really into her babies and pretending. She plays like she is dropping her babies off at daycare, feeds them and burps them. I have a friend named Joni and she loves to play like she is Joni. She told a little girl at jump zone her name was Joni. I can't wait for Christmas with her this year!

Since we have been thinking about all the things we are thankful for I want to talk about Justin. We met while I was in hygiene school. I was right in middle of my worst year. I was depressed sad and lonely. In the beginning I pretended like I was happy and having a great life. Justin made me realize that I didn't need to pretend around him. He accepted me for who I was and what I was going through. He encouraged me made me realize things where going to get better and loved me.
Justin is a quiet person he is not a phone person and doesn't mind riding in the car for hours without exchanging words. But just because he is quiet doesn't mean that he isn't paying attention. He is very aware of people around him. He likes most people. He will tell you the truth even when it is not what you want to hear. When he gets mad he will tell you why and then go on he doesn't hold a grudge.
Justin is a great dad. He is crazy about Addi and Easton. I could not have asked for a better dad. He takes care of them and I don't worry that he isn't doing something when he has them. He has it under control.
Justin and I just click. We have changed alot in the past 7 years but it has made our bond stronger. He gets me...he knows when I need a few hours by myself he knows when to leave me alone. He was even willing to take Sherman and Zoey in and love them as if they were his own dogs. I love Justin and am so thankful for him. I would be lost without him...

Three months

Last Saturday this little guy was 3 months old...I can not believe it! He went to dr this weekend and is 14.8 lbs and 25 inches long. This is probably my favorite baby stage. He is smiling trying to talk and sleeping all night but can still be put in the swing when I need to get something done. I love watching Addi with him. She is still crazy about him she loves to make him laugh and smile. He has really started watching him. Cuties!

One..two..three

Easton has been rolling over for about a week now and he has got it down! Time needs to slow down just a little.

Thanksgiving Day

We had a busy Thanksgiving day. Justin had to work so for lunch we went to Janies in laws. We ate and hung out until nap time. Then after naps we went to see Justin at the station. He had worked all day on the meal and there was over 20 people eating. When we got there they got a call then got another and then another so we hung out playing basketball and looking at the trucks. Addi loves going to the station to see her dad. It was a good long day!
We have so much to be thankful for. I am so blessed with my family our health our home our jobs the list goes on and on. I hope everyone had a great day.

Remember these?? Addi loved it!

Last weekend Grammy and Papaw came for a visit. Addi played and played and had a good time. Wish I would have gotten a picture of Papaw in his pearls with his purse going to the grocery store.

knock knock

When I grew up in Guymon we never worried about locking the doors or leaving the keys in the car. I always just left my keys in the car so I wouldn't loose them. Now that I have these two and live in a bigger place I am a little more cautious. When I was home this summer, I had alot of people come by at random times (usually nap time) and ring the doorbell. They are usually people from two different churches you know the ones... but they are men and they would ask if my husband was home and one asked if there was anything that needed to be done around the house. Well now I do not answer if I am home without Justin and I do not know who is at the door. Weird maybe but there are some crazies out there! Friday the doorbell rang and if you have ever been to my house you know my dogs go CRAZY so they are going nuts and Addi is yelling at them to hush hush and then the man knocks and knocks. I am totally aware that he knows we are home but after about 15 minutes he finally puts his watch tower brochure in the door and leaves. What's the point of this story not sure really just that if you are a man do not go door to door in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Go away your annoying!!
Easton has slept from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. 4 times in the past week and it feels so good! Addi was almost 6 months before she slept that long. They are both worn out when they come home from day care. I am too! It is a long day when Justin is gone and I have to work. My day starts at 5 and Addi goes to bed around 8:30 and Easton goes around 10 so I am tired. I use to have to set my alarm if I had to go somewhere before noon...that life seems so long ago!

I can't believe it is the middle of November and I really can't believe it is Thankgiving next week. That is crazy! Justin has to work on Thanksgiving this year so I am not sure what we will do on Thursday.

First Day

Tuesday was the first day for Addi and Easton to go to daycare. I was so nervous and did not sleep well. I am glad this day is behind us. Addi was so good this morning! She was excited to go and when I dropped her off she said bye mom see you tonight. I guess I am the one with the hang up! Usually Addi whines and cries when she gets dressed and when you do her hair but not today she was so good.

This is what we usually look like when we are trying to get some where by a certain time.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Friday my mom and I took Addi and Easton to a carnival. They had lots of games and prizes. It was so crowded Addi only got two pieces of candy but she had a good time anyways. Halloween we went trick or treating in our neighborhood I think Addi's favorite part was ringing the door bell. She was so cute saying trick or treat. Easton went along for the ride dressed as a skeleton. Addi didn't like her costume because it was itchy and she didn't like the gloves because she said she wanted to suck her fingers...

Paints

Addi has really started to like to do crafts and will play for hours with them. Justin had to work one Sunday so we went to Walgreens and got some watercolors. Addi will sit in her highchair and paint and paint. Gives me some time to get somethings done :)
