Here is Addi and her BFF. I think she looks so big in her jeans and little shoes! I think she is for sure a toddler not a baby anymore. She is 20 months old now and weighs 25 pounds!

Well I got over my blah feeling and have had a great weekend so far. Friday my friend Joni and her baby Blakely came to visit and Justin watched both girls while we went to do a little shopping. After they left I called my mom and she said she could watch Addi while we went and ate. It was so nice to just relax while we ate. We ate at PF Chang and it was so good. Addi and my mom had a good time too!

I decided to take a break this weekend and do somethings that I wanted to do. I fixed Addi's pumpkin and I also made her a Halloween dress again this year. I am going to have something embroidered on it but not sure what yet. Justin is at work today so we went to watch some of the game with Janie and Brian. We took Addi to Chick-fil-a after the game and there was an older man sitting across from us (like my grandparents age) he was wearing a cowboy hat like Addi's Pa-pa does sometimes. The whole time we were there she kept saying hi Pa-pa! Hi Pa-pa. It was so funny!!!

Blah blah blah

First I just want to say what a wonderful husband I have and I am so happy with him and we are so blessed to have the life that we have and so thankful for Addi. I know we are very fortunate.

Now that being said this past week I have just felt blah. Nothing is wrong and it has just been our regular life. Sometimes I just feel like I just do not have enough time to get everything done that needs to be done and spend time with those that I want to spend time with and still have some left over to do something I want to do. Justin is still working ALOT and is gone alot so I know that will be better soon. We will both be so glad (especially Justin I am sure)! Last night our air conditioner stopped working so it was hot and humid and so hard to sleep. Around midnight I had to get up because all that I could hear was Sherman panting so I had to get up and get a fan to blow on his big fat body so I could sleep. Maybe someday I will get caught up or maybe someday I will just learn to not worry about the small things that I did not get done...

Catching up

This morning we went to church then stayed for the picnic. I think Addi is doing better in the nursery and she even got her first sticker for being good at the daycare at the gym. The top picture is how she looks at you when she is doing something she is NOT suppose to be doing but is trying to see if you are looking.

Awhile back I posted about a girl that I went to school with that had a cancerous brain tumor. We graduated the same year and she has 3 kids the youngest is not yet a year old. PLEASE pray for all of her family she passed away yesterday. I am so sad for them. In church this morning the pastor said yesterday is gone it is in the past, tomorrow is not a guarantee, right NOW is what you have...where do you stand with God where are you at in your life. Really made me think....

I had to add the picture of Addi with a ponytail! What a cutie pie!!! On Friday, Janie and I went to eat and then to the movies. It has been a really long time since I have went out with a friend without Addi. Justin is gone so much that when he is home I want us all to be together. It was SO nice to get out. We did not get to see the movie we were wanting to see but the one we saw The Switch was good even if we did have to sit on the very FRONT row and I squeezed my drink and spilt it down my shirt was soaked....

Last weekend we went to Amarillo to visit family. Grandma came over on Saturday and spent the day with us. We usually go over to her house to visit so it was nice to have her with us all day! She made this yummy ice cream it was so good! We did not get any pictures of Kenny (Sorry!) but it is usually Dorothy who does not end up in a lot of pictures! We had a good time it is nice to see Addi with her grandparents!

Where does time go

It seems like yesterday when Addi was this size and then sometimes I don't remember her being this size!! Each day and week goes by so fast. I am waiting for Addi to wake up so we can go visit a friend for some reason she is sleeping forever I think she knows when her Momma has someplace she wants to go.

Here Lately

Well here is what we have been up to lately...the last two pictures are Addi on her way to Sunday school. I think she looks so big in these pictures. Addi has been doing good in the nursery she cries when you drop her off but within a few minutes she is busy playing with the baby dolls. I really like the church we have been going to. I have really missed going to church and it is nice to go and go as a family.

This weekend we went to the lake with some friends. We had a good time but man it was HOT!! Addi really likes to play in the water she swam in the lake and in the baby pool and really likes playing with her shovels and buckets. It was nice to get away just for the night. It is fun to just hang out get in the water and of course cook out some good food.

Addi is getting so big she does something everyday that amazes me. She had gone to the bathroom in the toilet 4 times now!!! Justin ordered her a potty so maybe next week she will get it. Justin took her one time at the lake and she fell into the toilet yuck...poor girl it really scared her. She has really started plating with her baby later she picks her up and kisses and hugs her. She will bounce her up and down and likes to put diapers on her and wrap her in a blanket. It is so amazing how much they learn from watching what you do..a little scary. Sometimes she calls me Laurie and Justin. My name sounds like Waurie. She is so funny and it is amazing how fast they grow up.

The Rest of the Florida Trip

Ok finally these are some more pictures from Florida. Now Florida seems 100 years away. We have been so busy since we have been home. Justin is super busy with work school and clinical. He had an Ob clinical the other day and was in with two babies being born he even got to see a c-section. But we are so glad we got to go to Florida it was beautiful and we had such a great time. Maybe again next year??!!
